Quick Guide & Delivery Details
Welcome to a very easy way to buy local food and support your community!
Our normal order cycle works on a weekly basis with a 9.00am deadline on Tuesday. Orders placed before the deadline are delivered on the Thursday of that week, orders placed after the deadline are delivered on the Thursday of the following week.
1) Register your details (only if this is your first visit). Please note that by registering on this website you confirm that you are over 18. If you have already registered just enter your e-mail address and password.
2) Click "Start Shopping" on right side of page under "Your Basket"
(To find out more about the product, where it comes from etc, click on the product code which is coloured green.)
3) Work through each page adding items & notes as required. Click "Add all quantities above to basket" at the bottom of each page.
4) Click "View Basket"
5) Click "Go to checkout"
6) Click "Confirm order" (another chance to add any notes.)
7) All Done! Our confirmation e-mail is on its way to you.
Order before 9am on Tuesday, and receive your order on Thursday ready for the weekend. If you can't be in then we will leave your order somewhere safe (by arrangement). Your food will be in a rigid plastic box with a lid, chilled goods in insulated cool bags with gel packs and it will all be fine until your return!
How much is delivery?
The delivery charge is just £4.50. This is equivalent to the cost of driving a mere 11 miles in your car according to Government figures.
If you are outside our delivery area we can ship your delivery to you (excluding anything frozen) all we do is pass on the actual cost of shipping which is an additional £6 (a total of £10.50) - there is no handling charge. Out of area green box orders are dispatched on Thursday and delivered on Friday. We also ship all week on certain meat packs, cheeses and other specialist items.

When will my delivery come?
Our area is divided up into delivery routes. New customers are assigned to a route and we will let you know, normally by email (please check your spam folder just in case it ends up there!) to arrange a convenient delivery time. If you are not at home, your delivery will be left in a pre arranged place.
When do I pay?
Payment can be made online, or by other means by special arrangement.
What do I do with the box?
Your order will come in a sealed box. This helps to keep food cool for at least 8 hours if you are not at home to receive the order. The driver needs to leave the box in a cool place and hidden from view. The box can be used many times, so we will take it away at the time of delivery if you are there to empty it, or collect it when we next deliver to you, or collect at any time you request, free of charge. We also appreciate the return of any ice packs.
